Women's Ministry
Ladies, Join Us!
Our Women's ministry is a program focused on meeting the spiritual, emotional, and relational needs of women. It offers opportunities for fellowship, growth, and service through Bible studies, events, mentorship, and outreach. The goal is to empower women to strengthen their faith, build community, and support one another in their spiritual journeys.
Committee members: Babs Feaster, Wendi Weaver, Debbie Landon, Katie Silver, Karen Warr, Patsy Moore, Cheryl King and Darby Clark.
If you are interested in joining us for 2027 committee, please reach out to one of these ladies or contact the church office.
Our Women's Ministry has a dedicated Facebook page. Announcements of upcoming events, pictures of events, devotions and other items are shared on our group page. Contact Babs to join:
Morning Star Circle
Join our Women's Morning Star Circle, a supportive community of women who gather on dthe second Monday for service and fellowship. Our time depends on the host of the month-either morning or luncheon. Together, we embrace opportunities to give back, share meaningful experiences, and uplift one another through connection and collaboration. Whether you're seeking to make a difference, forge new friendships, or deepen your sense of purpose, our circle welcomes all women who are passionate about creating positive change in the world and in each other's lives. Watch the calendar section for upcoming meetings. Come be part of something special!
Circle of Grace
Circle of Grace is a relaxed gathering of women meeting together to grow in faith, support local missions, and maybe try a craft or two. We meet at 5:30pm on the Fourth Tuesday of every month at the Fox Run Clubhouse at 428 Chase Circle in Winchester.
July 28th we will be providing the Community Meal at the Vine instead of regular meeting. Please come for opportunity to share food and fellowship.
Upcoming mission projects:
August we will collect pajamas for Isaiah House - boys and girls all sizes including teenagers.
September we will collect twin waterproof mattress covers for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
October we will collect items for homeless Veterans (personal care items and cold weather items).
November 11 We will host a coffee stand for the Veterans service
Partnering with Sleep In Heavenly Peace!
This mission project partners with Men's ministry who makes the beds. The ladies are outfitting the beds with sheets and comforters!
Twice a year we have church wide "drives". The comforters and pillows are in late winter/early spring and the waterproof mattress pads are in the fall.
The next drop off date will be September 27th during church, the church office, or a women's event for TWIN size sheet waterproof mattress pads.
Thank you for you support and help.

Merry Friendsgiving
This will be our 4th year to celebrate together as all women (and friends) of the church for a time of friendship, fellowship, food snacks, and a fun activity. In the pass we have enjoyed gift swaps, "family" feud, and other games. This year the theme will be HOPE, one of our advent candles. The Hope candle represents the anticipation of Christ's arrival and the fulfillment of God's Old Testament promises.
Stay tuned for the date. This is an event you will not want to miss.
